Dan is a partner and co-founder of Dolphin Capital and is currently the Chairman and CEO of Foundation Source.

Over a 30 year career, Dan has held the position of Chairman and CEO of numerous companies, both public and private, principally in the technology and financial services sector. In addition to Foundation Source, these companies include Financial Fusion, an internet financial services company, Home Financial Network, a developer of on-line banking technology, MECA Software, a leading developer and publisher of personal finance and tax preparation software and Great American Software, a leading publisher of small business accounting software.

Dan serves on the Board of Directors of Foundation Source, Alerion, David ID, NetSpend, Life Options, TriHealix, and Winder Farms.

Dan is a four-time national sailing champion, an avid (though aging) ice hockey player and a competitive oarsman. A native to New England, Dan was raised in Brookline, Massachusetts and now resides in Westport, Connecticut with his wife and three beautiful children.

Dan received a bachelor's degree in political science and economics from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard University.
