Skipstone Healthcare Staffing fills temporary positions with occupational and physical therapists, to hospitals and clinics throughout the country. Headquartered in Park City, UT this start-up company was founded on the premise that people are its greatest asset. Alan McIver, CEO and co-founder of Skipstone Healthcare Staffing, has been a CEO and executive of multiple healthcare staffing companies throughout his career.
Dolphin Capital and Alan spent over ten months sourcing potential acquisitions within the healthcare staffing industry. Eventually, Alan and Dolphin Capital decided to fund a start-up. Our combined opinion, after looking at dozens of staffing companies, was that the common denominator of success was the people: the marketers, the recruiters and the therapists on assignment. We viewed a start-up as the perfect opportunity to build a great team of people with a common goal of delivering great assignments to therapists and great therapists to clients.
